Dies R Us "Stars and Stripes" Challenge!

July is here and that means our country's birthday is just around the corner! At the Dies R Us Challenge Blog, we are celebrating with "Stars and Stripes" for the first two weeks of July.

We want you to use your die-cuts and play along with us.
Visit the Dies R Us Challenge Blog and link up your creative project by July 14th.  You could be a winner! Find the challenge guidelines in the Dies R Us Challenge Blog sidebar.

I'm a Yankee Doodle girl for sure, and created my inspiration using red, white and blue.

"Land of the free..."

This card was inspired by our national anthem and the many brave men and women that have fought for and continue to fight for our freedom.  The flag background paper was an obvious choice for the card base.  I used the music notes to represent the song itself and the skyline of trees and house for the "land of the free".  It wouldn't be complete without fireworks and stars.

Your card is so pretty! I love all the dies you incorporated without it looking busy at all. I'm definitely inspired!

Like how you've created a scene of houses below & song theme above to tie this all together wonderfully with red/white/blue colors that do not fade.

WOWZA! You go girl! This is SO creative! You've used dies on this patriotic scene that I wouldn't have thought to use in that manner (like the row of houses) ... well done lady!! I have found wonderful inspiration in your work many, many times ... and, today is no exception! Happy 4th of July weekend to you & yours!
